  1. The idea of cathy being a monster was brought up and a lot of the points came up leading to is cathy really a monster or is it how she reacts and how she is as a human
Henry brought up a good point and talked about how we see a “monster” and that maybe our perspective as a monster changes how we see things
    Storytelling vs a lie
Cyrus tells lie for himself personally to make himself feel better and Cathy tells lies to other people for her own benefit
Cathy wanting more power- on page 95 there is an example showing how she takes the drink and then blames everything on something/someone else rather than taking the responsibility
Jake brings up a good point and talks about jealousy and love and when does the point come to where they stop coexisting and become their own idea
On page 97 Mr. Edwards unrealves Cathys fear and how she finally comes to a breaking point and shows that fear
Julia brings up Frankenstein and how he is owned by someone and has a small purpose and how he does what his creator says
Hallie brings up on how most monsters have a purpose whether that is finding love or trying to fit in and we see in East of Eden Cathy doesn't really have a purpose and is questioning what it is
On page 98, we discover that cathy is in the Trask House
